How many letters can I have?

Up to ten. Names, nicknames, a short phrase without spaces, initials. The letters are 12mm high and sit side by side across the front of the band, so a ten-letter word spans roughly 12cm of collar. Longer words look better on the Medium to Large band, where there is more room either side of the buckle. Three or four letters sit centred and read clearly on either size.

Which letter style should I get?

Plain silver letters are the cleanest and read from a distance. Rose gold letters warm the collar up and suit the pink and black bands. Rhinestone letters, one stone set in each, catch light and are the loudest of the three; they are the ones for cosplay and stage. Half rhinestone gives a stone on alternate letters for something between the two.

What size do I need?

Measure your neck where the collar will sit. Small to Medium fits 11.5 to 15 inches (29 to 38cm). Medium to Large fits 14 to 18.5 inches (35.5 to 47cm). The buckle adjusts either way. If it is a gift and you cannot measure, 13 to 15 inches covers most adults, so Small to Medium unless they are broad-necked.

Can I use any word?

Yes. We do not filter the text. Profanity is fine. What you type at checkout is what we fit, so read it back before you confirm, because a collar with a misspelt word is yours to keep.

Can I wear it in the shower?

No. The band is faux leather and the letters are chrome plated alloy, so the collar should stay dry. A damp cloth on the band and a dry one on the letters is all the cleaning it needs.

Is it hypoallergenic?

The band, yes, for most people. The letters are chrome plated alloy rather than stainless steel, but they sit on the outside of the band and never touch the neck.

How long does it take?

The bands and letters are in stock with us in the UK and we fit the letters to order, so allow a few working days before dispatch.

How should I care for it?

Keep it flat or hang it by the buckle so the band does not crease across the letters. Wipe the band with a damp cloth. If a letter loosens, push it back onto its post; they are a friction fit and go back on the same way they came off. Keep perfume and hairspray away from the rhinestones.
