Measuring your neck to find the right size for a choker necklace is a simple process. Chokers are designed to fit snugly around the neck, so it's important to get an accurate measurement. Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to measure your neck for a choker necklace:

Materials Needed:
- A flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler
- A mirror (optional)
- A friend or family member for assistance (optional)

Step 1: Gather Your Materials
Ensure you have the necessary materials ready: a measuring tape or string and a ruler. If you're using string, make sure it's not stretchy and cut it to the desired length before you begin.

Step 2: Prepare Yourself
Find a well-lit area with a mirror if possible, as this will make the process easier. Stand or sit up straight to ensure an accurate measurement.

Step 3: Measure Your Neck Using a Measuring Tape:
1. Take the measuring tape and encircle it around your neck where you want the choker to sit. Chokers typically rest high on the neck, just above the collarbone.
2. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight. You should be able to fit one finger comfortably under the tape.
3. Record the measurement in inches or centimetres, depending on your preference.

Using a String and Ruler:
1. Wrap the string around your neck, following the same guidelines as with the measuring tape.
2. Mark the point where the string meets the starting end.
3. Carefully remove the string and straighten it out next to a ruler.
4. Record the length of the string in inches or centimetres.

- Large 15-19 inches (45.5 cm): 15 inches traditionally offers a slightly looser fit choker or a shorter princess necklace.

Most other retailers offer one size fits all usually with a small 5cm adjuster chain, and this simply isn't realistic.
