The alphabet is ours, drawn from three blackletter typefaces, and the full A to Z is here in silver. Steel is what keeps the serifs sharp; a stamped alloy initial goes soft at the edges and dark in the cuts within months, and ours doesn't, because there's no plate to wear through and nothing to tarnish. You can wear it every day, in the shower and to bed. Necklaces run from 35cm to 90cm, with the extender fitted if you choose it. If gold's the metal, the same letters are next door.
Which font should I choose?
Old English if the person wears black; the blackletter reads as a gothic ornament until you are near enough to make out the letter. Bold if you are buying blind, because a heavy plain letter is legible from the other side of a room and offends nobody. Either way the pendant is 23mm high and 18mm wide.
What length do I need?
Small at 41cm sits the letter at the collarbone. Medium at 46cm sits it just below, and is the length to buy as a gift because it lands right on almost everyone. Large at 51cm sits on the chest and suits a broader build. The optional 4 inch extender adds up to 10cm if you would rather not guess.
Can I wear two letters?
Yes. Two initials at 41cm and 46cm sit one above the other without tangling. Some people put two letters on one chain for a couple or a child.
Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?
No. The letter and chain are solid 316L stainless steel with no plate. Nothing darkens, nothing has copper in it, and the serifs stay sharp.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Yes. Wipe the letter after; the Old English serifs hold a drop of water.
Is it hypoallergenic?
For most wearers, yes. 316L stainless steel, on the chest all day.
Is it a good gift?
