Jewellery Gifts Under £20

£20 doesn't have to mean something that goes green by March. At that price you can still give jewellery that lasts, if you know where to look.

Everything in this collection is under £20. Plain chain chokers, necklaces and bracelets in 316L stainless steel, silver or 18k gold plated, cut and finished by us. Pendant chokers with a word, a heart or a charm at the front. Hoops, huggies and studs sold as pairs. And our faux leather collars, spiked, studded or plain, in black and a dozen colours.

Chokers are sized Small, Medium and Large by neck measurement with the 4 inch extender fitted, bracelets are sold in 2cm steps and necklaces from 35cm to 90cm. If you're buying blind, measure something they already wear. For a tighter budget, the stocking fillers are all under £15.

What's the best thing under £20?

A plain steel chain, choker or bracelet, because it lasts longest for the money. If they wear black, a faux leather collar. If you don't know their size, a pair of earrings.

How do I size a choker I'm buying for someone else?

Measure a choker or short chain they already wear, end to end, and compare it with the lengths on the product. Our chokers come in Small, Medium and Large, and every one has the 4 inch extender fitted to the chain. If their chain falls between two of our sizes, take the smaller one: the extender adds room, but nothing takes it away.

How do I get a bracelet size without asking?

Borrow a bracelet they wear and measure it end to end. Ours are sold in 2cm steps, and if you'd like the 4cm extender, choose it on the product and we fit it before it ships, which gives you some room if you're working from a guess.

Are the earrings hypoallergenic?

For most wearers, yes. They're 316L stainless steel, the grade used for surgical steel, and they're sold as pairs. Hinged hoops click shut, huggies snap, and studs have butterfly backs.

Can they wear it in the shower?

The steel pieces, yes. They're water resistant, so showers, the gym and sleep are fine; rinse after the sea or a pool and dry it. Velvet, faux leather and the working heart padlocks are the exceptions, and each one says so on its own product.

Does it come gift boxed?

Day collars come gift boxed as standard. On other pieces, where a gift box is offered you'll see it as an option on the product; add it there before it goes in your basket. Steel pieces without a box come in a black velvet pouch.
