Materials Needed:
- A flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler

Step 1: Gather Your Materials
Ensure you have the necessary materials ready: a measuring tape or string and a ruler. If you're using string, make sure it's not stretchy and cut it to the desired length before you begin.

Step 2: Prepare Yourself
Find a well-lit area with a mirror if possible, as this will make the process easier. Stand or sit up straight to ensure an accurate measurement.

Step 3: Measure Your Neck Using a Measuring Tape:
1. Take the measuring tape and encircle it around your neck where you want the choker to sit. Chokers typically rest high on the neck, just above the collarbone.
2. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight. You should be able to fit one finger comfortably under the tape.
