Drop & Dangle Earrings

A drop earring is the one that moves when you do. It catches the light, it shows under short hair, and it's the earring people notice first.

These hang below the lobe: gothic charms on huggies, crosses, crescent moons, padlock hearts and hoops with something swinging from them. They're 316L stainless steel, silver or 18k gold plated, hypoallergenic for most wearers, and the charms keep their detail rather than going dark. Sold as pairs.

Most of these hang from a huggie or a hinged hoop, so they stay closed while the charm moves. Check the drop on each product against where you'd like it to sit along your jaw. If you'd rather keep it tight to the ear, the huggies are the plainer choice.

How long are the drops?

The drop is measured from the lobe to the bottom of the charm. Shorter drops sit at the lobe; longer ones reach towards the jaw. Check it on each product.

Drop or dangle?

A drop hangs still below the ear; a dangle has a charm that swings. Most of ours are dangles hanging from a huggie or hoop, so the earring stays closed and the charm moves.

Are they hypoallergenic?

For most wearers, yes. They're 316L stainless steel, the grade used for surgical steel, so they can stay in for weeks without the itch that plated alloy causes. They're sold as pairs.
