Pendant Necklaces

A pendant necklace is the one with something to say: a symbol, a letter, a stone, a heart. The pendant is the point, so the chain has to carry it without twisting or going green.

These are our pendants on longer chains: crosses, hearts, skulls, moons, initials, birthstones and gothic charms. Pendants and chains are 316L stainless steel, silver or 18k gold plated, so the detail stays sharp and the colour stays put. Every chain is cut and finished by us. Our gothic pendants include chokers and slip chains too.

They're sold by length from 35cm to 90cm. Where a pendant sits depends where you'd like it to hang, so measure before you choose.

What length should I get?

Necklaces are sold by length from 35cm to 90cm. Measure a chain you already wear, end to end, or wrap a tape where you'd like it to sit. Where it sits depends where you'd like it to hang, so measure before you choose. The optional 4 inch extender gives you room either way.

What chain does it come on?

Each pendant comes on its own chain, chosen to carry it, in the same metal. Box chain holds a pendant facing forward; cable is softer.

Silver or gold?

Both are 316L stainless steel. The silver is steel all the way through, so there's nothing to wear off. The gold is an 18k plate over the same steel, the honest version of gold: it stays warm for years and wears first at the clasp, where it rubs most.

Is it waterproof?

Strictly, no jewellery is waterproof. Ours is water resistant: 316L stainless steel doesn't tarnish, so showers, swimming, the gym and sleeping in it are all fine. Rinse it after the sea or a pool and dry it.
