Chain Bracelets
Chain bracelets are the least complicated thing we sell and the one people wear the longest. No pendant, no motif, just the link doing what a link does. This is all of ours: cable, Cuban, Figaro, box, belcher, foxtail, paperclip, and the fancy links you won't find on the high street, from 2mm strands to 18mm pieces that are nearer a cuff.
Wrists take more knocks than necks, which is why these are 316L stainless steel, silver or 18k gold plated, rather than anything that can chip. Sold in 2cm steps: measure snug just below the wrist bone and add a centimetre or two for how you like it to hang. If you're not sure where to start, cable and Cuban are our most popular chains, the ones most collections start with. When you come back for a second, pick a different width so the two sit together. The same chains are here as necklaces and chokers if you want to match.
Which chain bracelet should I get?
Match your necklace if you have one. If not: Cuban for weight, Figaro for pattern, Belcher for a charm, box or cable for a plain line, paperclip to stack, foxtail for texture, Byzantine to wear alone. A 4mm Cuban in your metal is the safe first bracelet.
What size do I need?
A snug tape round the wrist below the bone, plus 1.5cm for comfort or 2.5cm for loose, gives the length to buy from 16, 18, 20 and 22cm. A 10mm or 12mm chain wants half a centimetre more. The optional 4cm extender turns one bracelet into two fits, and a 22cm with the extender is an anklet for most people.
Which width?
2mm and 3mm stack and sit beside a watch. 4mm to 6mm show on their own. 7mm and 8mm are noticeable. 10mm and 12mm are chunky and worn alone. On a wrist, take one step thinner than you would at the neck.
Will it tarnish or turn my wrist green?
No. Solid 316L stainless steel on the silver, 18k gold plated over it on the gold. No oxidising, no copper, no plate on the silver to wear through where the bracelet rubs a desk.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Yes. Shower, washing up, the gym, the sea. Rinse after salt water.
Is it hypoallergenic?
For most wearers, yes. Where the strap of a watch leaves a rash, a steel bracelet in this grade will not.
What comes in the box?
A black velvet pouch. Where a gift box is offered, you'll see it as an option on the product page.
