Men's Silver Necklaces
Silver is the safe choice for a man's necklace, as long as it stays silver. Sterling tarnishes, plate wears through, and 316L stainless steel does neither.
This is every silver necklace we do for men: plain silver chains in Cuban, Figaro, box and Byzantine, and pendant necklaces with crosses, skulls and gothic symbols. Steel is silver right through, so there's nothing to polish and nothing to wear off, and every chain is cut and finished by us.
Necklaces are sold by length from 35cm to 90cm; measure a chain you already own or wrap a tape where you want it to sit. 6mm is the most popular chain width. Silver disappears against black and goes with any watch, which is why most men start here.
Is it real silver?
It's 316L stainless steel, silver in colour all the way through. Not sterling, which tarnishes and needs polishing, and not plate, which wears through.
Chain or pendant?
A plain chain is the everyday one. A pendant says something. Plenty of men wear both, the pendant on a longer chain below a plain one.
What length chain should I get?
Measure a chain you already wear, end to end with the clasp, or wrap a tape where you want it to sit. Our necklaces are sold in centimetres from 35cm to 90cm. Shorter sits at the base of the neck, longer sits on the chest, and where you want it is your call. You can add the optional 4 inch extender on the product if you'd like some room either way.
Which width should I get?
6mm is our most popular width. Under 4mm sits under a shirt and pairs with a pendant. 8mm and up is meant to be seen, and 10mm and 12mm are heavy pieces you'll feel. If you already wear a chain, measure its width and go the same or one step up.
Can I wear it in the shower or at the gym?
Yes. It's water resistant, so showers, training and sleeping in it are fine. Rinse it after the sea or a pool and dry it.
What does it come in?
Every piece comes in a black velvet pouch. Where a gift box is offered, you'll see it as an option on the product; add it there if it's a present.
