Chain Necklaces

Plain chain necklaces, all of them. This is the collection to browse when you want a chain and don't yet know which one.

Cable is the simple round link that takes any pendant. Cuban is the flat link that lies close and catches light along its length. Figaro has the three-and-one rhythm. Box holds a pendant still. Belcher sits flush. Foxtail moves like rope. Paperclip is the long open link, and ours are the wide ones. Then the fancy links, the knot and coffee bean and chainmail constructions you won't find on the high street. All 316L stainless steel, silver or 18k gold plated, from 2mm to 18mm. Every one is sold by length from 35cm to 90cm, which is a wider range than most: tight at the collarbone at one end, resting on the chest at the other. Measure where you want it to sit. If you'd like the option of longer some days, choose the extender and we fit it before it ships.

Which chain should I buy first?

A 4mm cable or Cuban at 45cm in your metal. It sits at the collarbone, goes under everything, takes any pendant you buy later and layers with a finer chain above it. After that, a 2mm to go above it and a 10mm for the days you want the chain and nothing else.

What length do I need?

35 and 40cm sit at the throat. 45cm sits at the collarbone and is the standard length. 50cm sits just below it and is the pendant length. 55cm and 60cm sit on the chest and suit a broad frame or a chunky chain. 70cm and above hang low for layering. Measure a necklace you already wear and match it if you are unsure. The optional 4 inch extender adds up to 10cm to any length.
