Skull Necklaces

Skull jewellery is the one gothic motif that never went anywhere. The trick is a skull that looks good close up, with detail that doesn't wear flat.

These are our skull pendants on a chain, as necklaces and chokers. The pendants are 316L stainless steel, so the eye sockets and teeth keep their definition rather than going dark and soft like plated alloy. Every chain is cut and finished by us. The wider skull collection includes earrings and collars.

Necklaces are sold by length from 35cm to 90cm; a skull pendant sits well on a slightly heavier chain than a plain pendant would, because it has weight of its own. Chokers come in Small, Medium and Large with the 4 inch extender fitted.

What length should I get?

Necklaces are sold by length from 35cm to 90cm. Measure a chain you already wear, end to end, or wrap a tape where you'd like it to sit. Where it sits depends where you'd like it to hang, so measure before you choose. The optional 4 inch extender gives you room either way.

How do I size a choker?

Chokers come in Small, Medium and Large by neck measurement, with the 4 inch extender fitted to the chain. Wrap a tape round your neck where you want it to sit. If you're between sizes, go down: the extender adds room, but nothing takes it away.

Is it waterproof?

Strictly, no jewellery is waterproof. Ours is water resistant: 316L stainless steel doesn't tarnish, so showers, swimming, the gym and sleeping in it are all fine. Rinse it after the sea or a pool and dry it.
