Engraving is done to order here in the UK and takes two to three working days, and because it carries your words it can't be returned, so read it back twice and check the date. Necklaces are sold from 35cm to 90cm and bracelets in 2cm steps. The date is the part they'll read again.

What should I get engraved?

The date, both your names or initials, or one line only the two of you will understand. Shorter reads better on a pendant. The character limit sits next to the box when you type, so you'll see whether it fits before you order.

How long does engraving take?

Heart or eternity?

A heart says it plainly. An eternity link, a loop with no end, says the same thing more quietly, and it's the one people wear to work without being asked about it.

What if I don't know their size?

Find a necklace they already wear and measure it end to end, clasp included. That's the length to buy. Our necklaces are sold in centimetres from 35cm to 90cm, and you can add the optional 4 inch extender on the product if you'd like some room either way. We can't tell you what size someone is, but the chain on their neck can.

How do I get a bracelet size without asking?

Borrow a bracelet they wear and measure it end to end. Ours are sold in 2cm steps, and if you'd like the 4cm extender, choose it on the product and we fit it before it ships, which gives you some room if you're working from a guess.

Does it come gift boxed?

Day collars come gift boxed as standard. On other pieces, where a gift box is offered you'll see it as an option on the product; add it there before it goes in your basket. Steel pieces without a box come in a black velvet pouch.
