Figaro Chains

Figaro chain has a rhythm to it: three short links, one long, repeated, so the pattern reads from across a room and it doesn't need a pendant to look finished. It's the chain for people who want the chain to be the piece.

This collection is every Figaro we do: chokers sized to the neck with the extender fitted, necklaces from 35cm to 90cm, bracelets in 2cm steps, from a light 3mm to a 12mm where the long links catch light on their own. 316L stainless steel across the range, silver or 18k gold plated. Figaro moves more than a box or foxtail because the long links have room to swing, and that movement is part of how it wears. A 5mm or 6mm is the most popular; from 8mm up it wants to be seen. People who like Figaro tend to end up with the set.

Necklace, choker or bracelet?

The necklace at 45cm is where the pattern shows, along the collarbone. The choker puts it tight at the throat, and the 3mm gold version worn that way is one of the pieces we cut most. The bracelet sits beside a watch at 3mm and stands alone at 7mm. A matching necklace and bracelet is the usual set.

Which width?

3mm and 4mm show the pattern only up close and take a pendant. 5mm is worn alone every day. 7mm is the standard chunky Figaro. 10mm and 12mm are heavy and worn as the only thing at the neck or wrist.

What size do I need?

Necklaces: 35 to 90cm, 45cm at the collarbone. Chokers: Small for 11 to 15 inch necks, Medium 13 to 17, Large 15 to 19, with a 4 inch extender. Bracelets: 16 to 22cm, a snug wrist plus 1.5cm.

Figaro or Cuban?

Both lie flat. Cuban links are all the same and read as weight. Figaro alternates three short with one long and reads as pattern, so a thinner Figaro does the job of a wider Cuban. Weight, Cuban; pattern, Figaro.
