Silver Heart Necklaces
A silver heart should stay silver. Sterling goes black and needs polishing, plated ones wear through at the edges, and a heart you want to keep on has to be steel.
These are our heart pendants in silver 316L stainless steel: plain hearts, engraved hearts and birthstone hearts, on chains cut and finished by us. There's no plate to wear off, so the heart stays bright through showers, sleep and years of wear.
They're sold by length from 35cm to 90cm; measure where you'd like the heart to hang. If gold's your metal, the rest of our heart necklaces include gold versions. A silver heart is the one most often bought as a gift and kept on by the person who got it.
Is it real silver?
It's 316L stainless steel, silver in colour all the way through. It isn't sterling, which tarnishes and needs polishing, and it isn't plated, so there's nothing to wear through.
What length should I get?
Necklaces are sold by length from 35cm to 90cm. Measure a chain you already wear, end to end, or wrap a tape where you'd like it to sit. Where it sits depends where you'd like it to hang, so measure before you choose. The optional 4 inch extender gives you room either way.
Is it waterproof?
Strictly, no jewellery is waterproof. Ours is water resistant: 316L stainless steel doesn't tarnish, so showers, swimming, the gym and sleeping in it are all fine. Rinse it after the sea or a pool and dry it.
What does it come in?
A black velvet pouch. Where a gift box is offered, you'll see it as an option on the product. Day collars come gift boxed as standard.
