This is every personalised piece we do for the neck, in one place, so you can see the engraved plates next to the initials next to the birthstones and decide which kind of personal you mean.
The engraved pieces are made to order here, two to three working days, and can't be returned once they carry your words, so read it back twice. Initials and birthstones ship from stock. All of it's cut in 316L stainless steel, silver or 18k gold plated, because a name stamped into plated alloy is soft within a year and ours needs to outlast the reason you chose it. Some of these are chokers that sit at the throat, sized to the neck with the extender fitted; the rest are necklaces from 35cm to 90cm, so measure where you'd like it to hang. Most are gifts. Add the box.
Engraved, initial, word or birthstone?
Engraved if you have words: a date, a name, a line, cut in two to three days and read up close. Initial if you want one letter and nothing else. Zodiac or angel number if you know their birthday or the number they keep seeing. Birthstone if the month is all you know; the stone is 5A cubic zirconia, round or pear, on a 2mm chain.
What length do I need?
Initial necklaces come in 41cm, 46cm and 51cm; 46cm for a gift. Other necklaces are sold from 35cm to 90cm, with 45cm at the collarbone and the optional 4 inch extender covering a guess. The word, zodiac and angel number pieces are chokers, Small for 11 to 15 inch necks, Medium 13 to 17, Large 15 to 19.
Silver or gold?
Whatever is on their hands. Silver if you cannot see their hands; it engraves darker and reads more clearly. Gold is 18k plate over the same steel.
Are the birthstones real?
No. They are 5A cubic zirconia cut in the traditional colour for each month, and we say so on every page.
Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?
No. 316L stainless steel does not oxidise and carries no copper, and an engraving goes into the steel rather than a plate.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Yes, all of it.
How long does it take?
Anything engraved needs two to three working days on the bench. Initials, birthstones, zodiac and angel number chokers go out from stock. A week ahead of the date is safe.
What comes in the box?
A black velvet pouch. Day collars come gift boxed as standard. On everything else, where a gift box is offered, you'll see it as an option on the product page.
